The Chinchero Mestana — also known as a Missa or Mesa Andina — is woven in Peru on traditional looms and individually hand-cut and finished to size by our founder Patricia. Named for Chinchero, one of the most storied weaving towns of the Peruvian Andes, it carries the widest color range in our Mestana collection: 14 vibrant colorways, each with its own stripe combination and character.
Traditionally used for altars, despacho ceremonies, meditation, and energy work, its geometric stripes reflect a visual language shared across Andean textiles — a quiet connection between earth, spirit, gratitude, and balance.
