Double Line Huayruro & Chirmi Bracelet – Peru

The Double Line Bracelet brings together several of our artisans' braiding techniques in a single product, so you can pick the pattern and color that fits you best. Choose from "Flags" (seeds arranged in three vertical sections), "Interline" (seeds braided so that horizontal lines of color alternate visibly, one above the other), or our Pure Huayruro and Pure Chirmi single-seed styles — each one hand-braided in Peru from natural Amazonian seeds.

Huayruro (Ormosia coccinea), the vivid red-and-black seed, is traditionally carried in Peru as a talisman of protection and good fortune, including the belief that it wards off the "mal de ojo" (evil eye). Chirmi, a smaller seed from the same artisan tradition, is associated with abundance and positive energy.
