Llamas & Q'eros Mestana – Andean Altar Cloth, Peru
The Story & Details
Some motifs need no translation. A llama woven into cloth has meant the same thing across the Andes for centuries: companionship, livelihood, and home.
The Llamas & Q'eros Mestana — also known as a Misa Andina — is woven in Peru on traditional looms, then individually hand-cut and finished to size by our founder Patricia. Its woven llama figures and geometric Andean motifs sit within a warm palette of beige, yellow, brown, red, and turquoise, bringing character and color to any altar, home, or creative project.
Traditionally used for altar decoration, meditation spaces, and spiritual ceremonies, this Mestana works equally well as a vivid, soulful piece of home décor.
