This 3.5 cm (1.38 in) wide wool ribbon is artisan-made in Peru on traditional looms, using techniques passed down through generations of highland weavers. Cut from 100% natural Peruvian lambswool and colored with plant-based pigments, each piece is sold by the meter as one continuous, seamless length — ready to trim, bind, or embellish exactly as much as your project calls for.
The geometric motifs running through the weave aren't decoration for decoration's sake: they're symbols — mountains, sacred animals, cosmic beliefs — carried in Andean textile tradition for centuries and rendered here in Black, Grey, Red, Mustard, White, or Multicolor tones.

The item itself was nice, nothing special but a nice piece of rustic coloured trim. It is evidently machine woven and not handmade however which is no problem but for the price you would imagine more labour had created it. The bit I struggled with was the disproportionate price of postage for something that came to 20grams and could fit in a 3x2 inch package. I would happily buy more but not at those shipping costs.

Product in goede orde ontvangen. Ik was niet compleet tevreden met het item, maar dit was een fout aan mijn kant. Ik had niet goed gelezen dat het om 1 meter ging. Winkeleigenaar heeft erg attent een korting aangeboden met een oplossing. Deze heb ik niet geaccepteerd, maar de eigenaar denkt mee en dat mag genoemd worden.
